CUZCO is the third installment in the mask trilogy by renowned authors M. Kiesling and W. Kramer.
This is the new edition of JAVA, which was released in 2000 between TIKAL and MEXICA. Once again, Supermeeple has paid particular attention to the game's components and design for your greatest pleasure.

After the Aztec people of MEXICA and the Mayan people of TIKAL, we now have the Inca people in CUZCO.

As Inca dignitaries, you and your clan will come to the CUZCO board in Peru to build the city, erect temples, and make offerings to the gods to gain prestige and become Emperor of the Inca people!

Cuzco is a strategic game that combines tile and character placement. To earn prestige points, players must create villages using these tiles, place their clan members to achieve a majority, and then build and expand temples.

One of CUZCO's unique features lies in its majority principle. Indeed, you don't need to have the most characters to be in the majority, but rather to have the highest-placed character in a village. This principle forces players to stack terrain tiles to place themselves as high as possible.

Once the tiles are placed, the movement of characters and their position on the terrain will be of utmost importance to try and maintain this majority until the end of the game for the grand final scoring.

These tile placements and temple constructions will give CUZCO a superb appearance as the game progresses.
