Ultimately, many of you never attached the MINI-SQUAMISH (now called ANNECY) to a bicycle. So MeroMero decided to release its twin brother, but without the Velcro attachment system on the back. The WANAKA is therefore an exact replica of the ANNECY, but with a comfortable 3D mesh back. Ideal for your city trips, travels, or mountain adventures…

Care:
Take care of your bag! Lightly brush then rinse with lukewarm soapy water as soon as you have a stain. Avoid machine washing due to the leather, which may be damaged.

Recycled and/or eco-responsible materials: ultra-resistant 1000D recycled nylon certified Bluesign® and GRS (Global Recycled Standard). PFC-free water-repellent treatment. Leather certified GOLD by the Leather Working Group (without phthalates or harmful chromium) and OekoTex® certified. All materials comply with European REACH regulations.

Responsible manufacturing: we have been working for years with a Japanese partner in Vietnam, specializing in technical products (safety harnesses, paragliding sails, and technical backpacks). They are ISO 9001 certified for quality, ISO 14001 certified for the environment (Interteck) and also have WRAP (World Responsible Accredited Production) certification. This annual audit is the most extensive environmental, professional, and ethical certification program worldwide.

Less polluting transport: we have chosen to transport goods by boat from the port of Ho Chi Minh (very close to the factory) to Fos-sur-Mer, then by truck to our warehouse in Annecy. When we are not in a hurry, we go up the Rhône by barge (peniche) then by truck for the last few kilometers. We occasionally ship a few boxes by plane, but this remains exceptional.
