In The Artemis Project, travel within our solar system has become possible. This led to the discovery, beneath the thick ice layer of Europa, Jupiter's moon, of oceans due to volcanic thermal vents. The major corporations immediately launched a colonization project: The Artemis Project.

As the head of one of these corporations, you will have to colonize Europa and explore the planet.

The game takes place over 6 rounds, during which you will program your actions by placing dice on the game board.

In The Artemis Project, the strategy will be to use these dice tactically. Indeed, lower values will be less powerful but will have priority over more powerful dice.

Since resources and choices are often limited, you will have to place them judiciously and in a specific order to ensure their effects are best applied.

Thus, you will embark on explorations, often in common with other players to succeed, but also gather energy and ore. This ore will then allow you to build infrastructures that will provide bonuses for the game during the first 3 rounds, and then points for the final score.

To activate these buildings, you will need to recruit colonists and place them according to their specialization to trigger their effects. Be careful, however, not to take too many, as you will have to "warm" them against the outside cold.

In each round, an event will take effect, known to everyone at the beginning of the round, but which should not be neglected to take full advantage of it or avoid it if it is a constraint.

The game ends with a final count that will take into account all your successes, whether they are explorations, resources, buildings constructed, and the diversity of your colonists.

The Artemis Project is a strategic management game with strong interaction thanks to an ingenious dice-placement-and-sliding system. Each die will have its power, not necessarily due to its value, but rather to where and when it takes effect.
